Dr. Hone

Dr. Hone was born and raised in southeast Idaho. He attended BYU-Idaho with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He served an LDS mission to Monterrey, Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. He received his DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. After dental school, Dr. Hone completed a one year AEGD residency at Idaho state University where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, IV sedation and oral surgery. He has been teaching one day a month at the ISU residency ever since he finished the program. Dr. Hone practiced general dentistry in Pocatello for 6 years until he pursued his dream to specialize in Endodontics. He completed his endodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his MSD and Certificate in Endodontics. He maintains a current IV sedation license with he Idaho stat Dental Board, and plans to provide this service at our office.

He and his wife have three children and enjoy everything outdoors including skiing, hiking, motorcycle riding and golfing.

Dr. Hone will be providing patient care at our Pocatello and Burley locations.
